One of the effective ways to manage depression is changing your negative thoughts with positive statements and realistic thinking challenge. A person could take a walk, listen to music, read the newspaper or an activity to do that to them a new perspective on things. To do something, your mind is arrive at the problem and give you the confidence to do other things.
Sometimes we can depressed over a task, we must implement in the near future. If this happens, visualize yourself while the task in your mind. For example, you and your team in the volleyball championship game in front of a large group of people in the next few days to play. Before the big day comes, imagine the game in your mind. Imagine that your game before a large audience. By playing in your mind, you will be be better prepared for real when the time comes to perform. Self-Visualization is a great way to reduce the fear and stress of a coming situation.
Another technique that is very helpful of positive statements that we have to do a good feeling. Whenever you come across an affirmation that you feel good, write it in a small notebook that you can carry around with them makes you in your pocket. If you feel depressed, open up your small notebook and read those statements.
