Through a period of slimming or diet program, exercise is one of the crucial factors. With proper and regular exercise, the purpose of burning the fat in the body can be effective.
There are still many people trapped assumption that the type of exercise to burn fat fast is by doing high-intensity exercise like fast running or fast bicycling might linger. Actually fat-burning can occur through a low-intensity exercise, but with a fairly long duration.
The effective way to burn body fat is by doing low to moderate intensity. For example, you could casually walk over 30 minutes, or even to swim breaststroke slowly over half an hour. To be effective, this exercise should be done at least more than 30 minutes.
Why 30 minutes? Because when we move, the body spends energy from glucose (carbohydrates) in your blood sugar as well as the existing reserves of muscle and liver cells (glycogen). This new reserve will be exhausted when you’re moving for 30 minutes. If you do a little exercise over 30 minutes, most likely the body will take energy from other sources of fat reserves.
Then, what happens when you perform high intensity exercise for long period? Exactly happened is not burning fat, but protein from muscles. Heavy exercise such as running, your body will spend the reserves of energy that is constant and rapid. While this backup energy sources can only be obtained from fat instead of muscle protein.
Fat will not be able to provide it because their metabolism is slow. Therefore, the diet plan will not be effective with heavy exercise, because it’s not fat that is burned. So, for you who want to lose weight, do a little exercise on a regular basis over the 30 minutes.
